About the Role

At DistributionNOW, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients in the drilling and production industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Drilling and Production Accounts: You will be responsible for servicing our clients' drilling and production accounts, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Support Sales Team: You will provide administrative support to our sales team, including tasks such as data entry, order processing, and record-keeping.
  • Interact with Customers and Vendors: You will interact with both customers and vendors to complete sales orders, provide technical expertise, and logistical support.
  • Responsible for Entire Order Process: You will be responsible for the entire order process, from order creation to delivery paperwork, and maintaining organized records.
  • Accurately Create Work Orders and Process Invoices: You will accurately create work orders and process invoices, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide Technical Sales Support and Product Consulting: You will provide technical sales support and product consulting to customers, helping them to make informed decisions about our products and services.
  • Directly Support Business Development Efforts: You will directly support business development efforts to cultivate and grow our customer base.
  • Support Efforts to Exceed Sales Goals: You will support efforts to exceed sales goals, increase market share, and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Drilling and/or Production Knowledge Preferred: Drilling and/or production knowledge is preferred, but not required.
  • MS Office Skills and SAP Knowledge Preferred: MS Office skills (Excel and Word) and SAP knowledge are preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in Inside Sales/Customer Service Role a Plus: Experience in an inside sales/customer service role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Relevant Oil & Gas Products Preferred: Knowledge of relevant oil & gas products is preferred, but not required.
  • Positive, Assertive Attitude, Outgoing, Service-Oriented, Self-Motivated, and Willing to Receive Direction: You must have a positive, assertive attitude, be outgoing, service-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to receive direction.
  • Detail-Oriented, Organized, and Analytical: You must be detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
  • Must Have Current, Valid Driver's License and Acceptable Record at All Times: You must have a current, valid driver's license and an acceptable record at all times.
  • Must Be Able to Physically Lift Up to 40 Lbs: You must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Oral and Written Communication Skills, Both Internal and External: You must have excellent oral and written communication skills, both internal and external.
  • Relationship-Building Abilities with Both Customers and Co-Workers: You must have strong relationship-building abilities with both customers and co-workers.
  • Strong Work Ethic and Integrity: You must have a strong work ethic and integrity.
