Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Driller to join our team at GeoStabilization International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating rock drills, construction equipment, and other machinery to stabilize slopes and repair bridges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate rock drills and construction equipment to stabilize slopes and repair bridges
  • Read and determine measurements to ensure accurate placement of materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized construction site
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve project goals
  • Mix, spray, and operate shotcrete or grouting pumps to stabilize slopes

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in soil stabilization or geohazard mitigation
  • Heavy equipment operation experience
  • Prior concrete or shotcrete experience
  • Drilling experience
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to get along with a diverse group of people
  • Previous experience leading teams

Work Environment:

  • Climates vary in degrees, in tropical to desert environments
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate and hearing protection is often required
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
  • Regular heavy lifting (75lbs+) of construction materials on the job site
