We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Blue Jay Communications. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Your primary duties will include issuing vehicles to operators, creating daily reports, and entering data into our fleet management system. You will also be responsible for managing electronic and physical file systems for fleet vehicles and equipment, providing assistance to expedite and maintain vehicles and vehicle information, and supporting fleet services staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to possess a current and valid driver's license with 5 years of driving experience, a minimum education level of High School Diploma or higher, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
You will also be expected to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform simple mathematical calculations.
As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet, and will be required to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors.
