Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our Ramp and Transportation Department at LSG Sky Chefs. Main Responsibilities
  • Supervisor Responsibilities
    • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed, and that all delivery times are met timely.
    • Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
    • Conduct daily safety audits (A1s).
    • Conduct daily work group meetings.
    • Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets.
    • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and all government regulatory agencies standards.
    • Document and follow up on all department processes to implement improvements.
    • Open availability, weekends, and holidays as operations require.
    • Other duties as deemed necessary.
  • Leadership
    • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to uphold high standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service.
    • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed.
    • Plan, implement, and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations.
    • Participate and support company-sponsored initiatives such as GQS, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and CBase.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge required.
  • One to three years of related work experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience managing CDL drivers preferred.
  • Experience with DOT requirements.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven analytical and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
