As a key member of our Environmental, Health & Safety team, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Manage waste disposal and wastewater treatment programs to ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide training and education to employees on safety and environmental procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in industrial environment with responsibilities in safety and environmental functions
- Waste Water Treatment License (if not already obtained)
