Work Schedule:
Per Diem
Shift Details:
Flexible shifts and hours; Per Diem staff must be available to work:
- 2-8 shifts per month, including at least one weekend shift as needed
- 2-8 hour vacation shifts
- 1 summer vacation
- 1 winter vacation
- Or the equivalent as determined by the department manager as needed

Key Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care or designee, you will perform a variety of tasks in administering and monitoring Respiratory Care Services in accordance with physician orders.
Services include, but are not limited to: Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), sputum induction, breathing exercises, medication delivery, fit testing, Tuberculosis (TB) testing, blood sampling and analysis, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), airway management, bronchoscopy assistance, evaluation and assessment, protocol implementation, patient and family education, smoking cessation, non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation, heliox therapy, oxygen therapy, holter monitoring, Electrocardiogram (EKG) testing, and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- Valid license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Respiratory Care is required.
- One (1) year of experience in acute and chronic respiratory care is preferred.
- CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certification is required; RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination upon hiring.
Compensation:
USD $51.19 /Hr.
