In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional resident care through a collaborative approach with resident assistants, nursing staff, and other members of our interdisciplinary team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and provide direct care services to residents.
  • Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Conduct evaluations as mandated by state regulations and facility policies, under the guidance of the Director of Wellness.
  • Monitor residents for any changes in their condition and promptly report findings to your supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and care plans for each resident.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings focused on resident care.
  • Check and record vital signs and other health metrics as assigned.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Facilitate safe transfers and mobility for residents, adhering to best practices.
  • Oversee the medication delivery system, ensuring compliance and accuracy in medication management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with current state certification as a Medication Technician or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a related field, particularly in senior care.
  • Strong understanding of senior living regulations and care options.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and mobility assistance.
