As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Perioperative department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of registered nurses, charge nurses, nursing assistants, and other staff members to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and leaders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Manage and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • Experience in leadership and management, preferably in a perioperative setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques, including infection control and specialized equipment.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
