Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and Introduce New Members: Welcome new members and their families to the Clubhouse, providing a comprehensive introduction to our services and support.
  • Develop Personal Goals and Plans: Assist each member and their family in creating personalized goals and plans, guiding their involvement in Clubhouse activities and promoting recovery from substance abuse addiction.
  • Provide Case Management Services: Offer basic case management services, including accessing entitlements and social services, and provide referrals to community resources as needed.
  • Ensure Service Delivery: Make follow-through contacts with clients and other agencies to ensure that necessary services have been provided.
  • Consult and Collaborate: Consult with county, community, and agency representatives to identify and develop resources for client assistance.
  • Crisis Intervention: Intervene in crisis situations as needed, providing support and guidance to our members and their families.
  • Support Senior Peer Leadership Specialist: Assist the Senior Peer Leadership Specialist with activities and tasks as required.
  • Document and Record Keeping: Review programmatic and personal documents, create and maintain case contact notes and records, and perform related functions.
  • Transportation Services: Provide transportation to clients as needed, utilizing a company-owned vehicle.
Requirements
  • Experience: Requires two years of experience in casework, guidance, or counseling, and peer navigation.
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts in a Human Services-related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with parents, community professionals, and individuals with diverse personalities and situations; sensitivity to substance abuse issues among teens and their families.
  • Driving Requirements: Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (three or fewer points).
Working Conditions

Work occurs in a programmatic environment with minimal physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, or noise. Flexibility in working hours may be required to coordinate direct care and services with families and/or provide outreach. Depending on assignment, work may involve travel between programs and services.
