Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Caregiver Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing comprehensive care and support to our residents on weekends, with opportunities for additional shifts during the week. As a Weekend Caregiver Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our community members.

Responsibilities
  • Pass Background Check: You must pass a thorough background check to ensure the safety and security of our community members.
  • Treat with Respect and Dignity: Treat all community members with respect, dignity, and compassion at all times.
  • Support Care Plans: Support and perform care as specified in the community member service plan.
  • Accountability: Assure community members are accounted for and their whereabouts are known at all times.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe community members for changes in condition and report any significant changes to the administration team.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations according to current policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Complete incident reports per policy on assigned shift.
  • Vitals Recording: Take and record vitals into community members' charts.
  • Prompt Response: Promptly respond to calls from community members or staff.
  • Housekeeping: Tidy community members' rooms and other common areas around the facility.
  • Laundry and Linens: Change linens and remove garbage, and complete laundry and ensure it is delivered back to the room in a timely manner.
  • Transfers and Escorting: Transfer and escort community members following care plans and safe practices.
  • Care Documentation: Document care was provided to community members.
  • Reporting Abuse: Report to the Administrator any signs of community member abuse or witnessed misappropriation.
  • Appearance and Dress Code: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and adhere to the dress code as policy indicates.
Benefits and Compensation

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a competitive salary. The estimated salary range for this position is $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional differential is available for all hours worked on the weekend.
