Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor

New Mexico Junior College is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the growth and development of students in our Healthcare Education programs.
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Job: We are looking for a part-time Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor to assist with teaching and coordinating our Nurse Aide Certification program. As an instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications for certification.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of Nurse Aide Certification classroom instruction, approximately 1-3 days per week, with two two-hour classes per day.
- Be present during instruction and skills check-offs, observing students as needed.
- Supervise students during clinical rotations, scheduled in the spring semester.
- Participate in campus committees as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current unencumbered Nursing license required.
- Nursing Home work experience of at least 1 year and/or Nurse Aide classroom instruction experience of 5 years or more.
- Eligibility to work in New Mexico.
