They skillfully diagnose a wide array of intricate issues to ensure Endpoint security and data integrity, following industry best practices.
Furthermore, the Senior Endpoint Systems Architect provides tier three support to other engineers and support personnel.Position Details:
Work Environment:
At Duluth Trading Company, we prioritize in-person interactions that enhance our culture of learning, creativity, and collaboration. The position is based at our headquarters, with a hybrid work model allowing for one day in the office and four days of remote work each week.
What You'll Do:
Assess current systems for effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability, while collaborating with vendors and engineering teams to enhance system performance, capacity planning, manageability, and system modeling. Conduct performance optimization, issue resolution, security management, capacity planning, policy governance, change management, disaster recovery, and system analysis of endpoint systems and services. Automate operational tasks as necessary, ensuring precision and compliance with security protocols. Translate business needs into code and documentation while managing the lifecycle and communication for assigned projects.
Thoroughly evaluate the organization's endpoint hardware requirements, perform detailed analysis, and work with vendors to facilitate the acquisition of appropriate devices. Design, maintain, and administer MDM/MAM Platforms (Soti MobiControl, VMware Workspace One, JAMF).
Plan, prioritize, and oversee projects; manage tasks to ensure effective utilization of team resources and adherence to project timelines. Take charge of the asset management platform, utilizing Service Now to ensure its efficient operation, configuration, and maintenance for tracking endpoint assets throughout their lifecycle. This includes maintaining data accuracy, conducting regular audits, implementing process enhancements, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize asset management workflows and reporting. Maintain platform ownership of Microsoft and Secure print environments across the organization. Mentor and train support and engineering staff. Administer Endpoint components of an M365 multi-tenant environment. Act as tier three escalation for support, including on-call responsibilities. Actively participate in Change Advisory Board Meetings, applying extensive knowledge of ITIL framework and processes. Stay updated on new technologies and influence future technology stack and changes. Configure and design hardware and software systems to meet business unit needs; create related documentation such as troubleshooting guides and knowledgebase articles. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of desktop-level software and hardware solutions, systems, and products. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company objectives. What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field. - Equivalent work experience will be considered. 7+ years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Including but not limited to Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience working at a high level with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, MDM/MAM platforms, Operating System Image Manipulation, and Modern Driver Management is required. Expert-level ability to troubleshoot Windows Endpoint Issues is essential.
Experience with orchestration tools, Group/Azure Policy, MDM/MAM platforms, and operating in a Retail environment is a plus.
Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell. Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision. Experience as a Google Workspace Administrator is preferred. Preferred certifications:
M365, Google Workspace Admin, CompTIA A+
