Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Opportunity Director to join our team at Rehrig Pacific Company. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory, managing and growing existing customer accounts, and developing and implementing effective sales processes and procedures. You will also lead and mentor junior sales team members to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Main Responsibilities:
  • Territory Management:
    • Manage and grow sales revenue within your assigned territory.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Account Growth:
    • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue and market share.
    • Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes to drive results.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives.
  • Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor junior sales team members to achieve their full potential.
    • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.

Requirements:
  • Must be located within the Territory (FL, GA, AL, MS, LA).
  • BA / BS degree required.
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative.
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Self-awareness, relationship management skills, and openness to feedback.
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of business-to-business field sales experience required; 3 years preferred.
  • Consultative selling, retail, manufacturing, supply chain, or B2B experience preferred.
  • Acceptable motor vehicle report due to the operation of a company vehicle.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
