Job Title: Director, Solutions Architecture

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Director, Solutions Architecture to lead the design of innovative and cost-effective mission-relevant solutions for our Cyber Mission Sector. As a key member of a capture team, you will be responsible for developing integrated, cost-effective solutions that address the operational and technology needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Business Development, delivery accounts, and Corporate Offerings to determine the overall solution strategy and approach, aligning customer objectives and requirements to generate value propositions and approaches to solve Government customer challenges.
  • Responsible for the technical solution development, competitive costing, and business case alignment of Peraton solutions to the Government client's proposal requirements.
  • Lead teams of solution professionals and technical subject matter experts in the development of integrated, cost-effective solutions for inclusion in proposal responses that meet the customer's requirements and maximize Peraton's competitive advantage.
  • Articulate all aspects of the solution during governance reviews with senior Peraton management, identifying and evaluating solution risks and creating strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
  • Establish strong relationships with Peraton partners to drive high-quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
  • Understand operational environments and position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
  • Interact with customers to gain insights into customer needs and support shaping activities by articulating the benefits of Peraton solutions.
  • Translate the benefits of our approach to specific levels of seniority within the sponsor teams (strategic vs. tactical) and translate innovation and R&D into differentiated solutions for customers working with company technology leadership.
  • Mature network of contacts to include government, OEMs, and competitors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 16 years industry experience (IC, DoD, and/or DHS customers) or a minimum of 14+ years industry experience with a Master's degree OR a minimum of 10+ years industry experience with a PhD.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting successful technical solutions for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for US Federal Government customers.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior and executive management levels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge across a broad range of mission-focused and technology services and solutions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance; active clearance is preferred.
  • Must be local to the Annapolis Junction, MD area or the ability to travel to the area within four hours.
