Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Academic Assistant to support student learning and success in the Capistrano Unified School District. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist students with academic tasks and provide support with homework and projects.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure student success.
- Organize and maintain accurate records and files.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Working Conditions
This is a part-time position, working 9.5 months per year with a variable schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is $16.00 per hour, with the possibility of advancement to Step 6 with Superintendent or designee approval and written verification of work experience beyond the job description requirements.
