At Options For Learning, we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and improving lives by providing tools for school, social, and life success. Our organization has been a leader in child development since 1981, serving nearly 9,000 children in the San Gabriel Valley.
About This Position
The Enrollment Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for supervising and training enrollment component staff in the delivery of services to families in our Voucher Program. This role requires effective communication, collaboration, and a passion for our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned caseload with emphasis on cases that present significant difficulties.
- Supervise enrollment specialists in all aspects of case management and delivery of child care services.
- Prepare draft performance evaluations of enrollment specialists for submission to the enrollment manager.
- Manage enrollment specialists' scheduling, program inquiries, caseloads, and daily activities.
- Maintain knowledge of and follow Community Care Licensing regulations, funding terms and conditions, Child Development Division regulations, Title V regulations, and applicable California state law and CalWORKs contract requirements.
- Maintain current and accurate records in the database while ensuring confidentiality.
- Monitor case management, data integrity, and timeline quality for enrollment specialists.
- Prepare reports for the enrollment manager.
- Represent the organization at meetings in the community.
- Train department staff on policies, procedures, and the use of program computer systems.
- Review parent files for accuracy and completeness.
- Work with payment analysts regarding provider payments and parent fees.
- Assist parents to resolve problems with providers.
- Coordinate social services, counseling, health, and special education referrals for parents.
- Accurately complete all assigned paperwork and documentation on a timely basis according to organization policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in the annual in-service training.
- Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two years of management experience in a child development or social service program setting or related industry.
- Associate's degree or higher in social services, business, child development, or related field (preferred).
- Ability to work well with people with a sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
- Five years of experience in Options For Learning's voucher programs and subsidy contracts (preferred).
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.
- Passion for the mission and goals of the organization, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children and families in need.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams).
- A California driver's license, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance (preferred).

Job Specifications

Salary
- $75,000 to $83,000 per year.
