Position Summary

An immediate opportunity for a qualified Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator with a focus on construction management. The ideal candidate will possess relevant credentials such as a BS/MS degree and certifications including OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, ASP, GSP, CSP, or CHST.

Key Responsibilities

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations throughout the construction project. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to EHS standards for the project
  • Conducting daily documented EHS inspections
  • Facilitating site-specific EHS orientations
  • Assisting in the coordination of crane operations
  • Participating in the Daily Hazard Analysis
  • Investigating incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions
  • Collaborating with project leadership to promote a safe work environment
  • Collecting and analyzing EHS performance indicators to identify trends
  • Reviewing and assisting in the development of EHS plans
  • Ensuring that craft workers receive proper training for their tasks
  • Partnering with EHS professionals within the construction management team
  • Delivering various EHS training modules
  • Assisting in the management of a positive reinforcement program
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in EHS with a focus on construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • BS/MS in a related field
  • OSHA 500/510 certifications
  • ASP/GSP/CSP/CHST/STSC certifications
