Safety Strategist

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Facilities Services Safety team at Walmart. As a key member of our organization, you will focus on developing and implementing safety strategies and programs to ensure a safe working environment for our associates.

• Collaborate with field managers, home office teams, and safety committees to identify potential safety issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Participate in safety program development, training, and facilitation, including assisting the field with safety concerns and supporting change management initiatives.
• Develop data-driven products and applications to reduce risk exposure, injuries, and incidents.
• Conduct audits and accountability reviews to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Create safety awareness and communication through data reviews and training.
• Support strategy development and tactics to prevent injuries, including developing controls and management oversight.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in EHS.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
• Large program management experience and persuasive communication skills.
• Experience in data analytics and data model construction.
• Experience working with diverse maintenance teams.

Walmart offers a competitive salary range of $80,000.00-$155,000.00, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional benefits include stock, 401(k) match, paid maternity and parental leave, and more.
