SYP is a consulting firm that specializes in organizational transformation. We work with CEOs, leaders, and their executive teams to design a better future for their organizations, particularly in times of great change.

The Opportunity

In partnership with Strategists, Designers, Program Managers, and developers, Designers at SYP are responsible for designing the experiences and tools that will lead our clients (and sometimes their customers) through a journey of discovery, learning, understanding, and transformation.

Our work spans all media, and Designers at SYP will work in Print, Digital, and Experience design. While Designers may specialize in one area of design, they will ultimately apply their skills throughout all three.

Candidate Profile

You have the ability to understand people's needs and experiences and communicate those insights through various form factors.

You are curious about the challenges impacting business and society today and are passionate about the impact of your work beyond a final deliverable.

You are a natural communicator who shares your ideas in a way that inspires others and builds belief.

You are a motivated self-starter and comfortable with highly collaborative team environments.

How You'll Drive Impact

As a Designer, you will collaborate with a team to deliver impactful work for clients and assume ownership of various aspects of projects.

You will apply your collaborative skills to build relationships with teams across disciplines and with clients.

As a member of a cross-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the whole project while ensuring projects are completed with high-quality design aesthetics.

You will be mentored by Creative Directors and partner with other designers to create visual and experiential systems across a project.

Qualifications

All levels of experience welcome; digitally-focused agency or design studio experience ideal.

You should be able to bring together coherent ideas, cutting-edge technical expertise, and inspiring expression.

You should be equipped with a strong foundation in aesthetics and have a finger on the pulse of what's new and possible.

You should be interested in the nature and complexity of the organizations we work with.

You should be prepared to work iteratively and often in ambiguity.

You should be able to draw at all times from an ever-growing range of visual and cultural references to define moods and ideas.
