We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing robust SIEM architectures to join our team at Capgemini.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of ArcSight or Splunk core components, including ESM, Loggers, Smart Connectors, Indexers, Forwarders, Search Heads, and Cluster Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Robust SIEM Architectures: Lead the development of secure and scalable SIEM architectures that meet the complex needs of our clients.
  • Configure and Administer SIEM Tools: Configure and administer ArcSight or Splunk ingestion and forwarding for new and existing applications and data.
  • Troubleshoot Dataflow Issues: Troubleshoot ArcSight or Splunk dataflow issues between various event flow components.
  • Create Dashboards and Analytics: Create dashboards and analytics within SIEM tools to provide real-time insights and monitoring capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship Required: Candidates must be US citizens due to government contract requirements.
  • TS/SCI Clearance: Ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 8+ Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on SIEM technologies.
  • ArcSight or Splunk Expertise: Experience with ArcSight or Splunk core components, including ESM, Loggers, Smart Connectors, Indexers, Forwarders, Search Heads, and Cluster Managers.
  • Configuration and Administration: Experience configuring and administering ArcSight or Splunk ingestion and forwarding for new and existing applications and data.
  • Dataflow Troubleshooting: Experience troubleshooting ArcSight or Splunk dataflow issues between various event flow components.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SOC Experience: Experience working in a Network Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
  • Data Correlation: Experience and talent in data correlation.
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Cybersecurity certifications, such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler Certification.

Estimated Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
