Job Description

The JPI Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing energy-efficient products in residential homes to help reduce electrical consumption.

 

Responsibilities:

• Installing energy-efficient products, such as LED bulbs, low-flow water aerators, and weatherstripping, in residential homes

• Educating customers on ways to save money by reducing their electrical consumption

• Accurately reporting installation measures

• Quality reporting to the Field Supervisor

• Documenting safety issues to management

• Safely driving work trucks/box vans to and from customer homes and office/hotel

• Participation in neighborhood kickoff events

• 80% travel time or more throughout IN and KY (Vehicle provided)

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (8-hour days) with some occasional Saturdays. Occasional hotel overnight stays (paid by company).

• A four-day work week (10-hour days) is possible if field production dictates

• Weekends and some holidays off

 

Desired Skills:

• A background in HVAC, energy efficiency, construction, or related field a plus

• Excellent customer service background

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail oriented

• Safety minded

• Ability to work to a deadline and in fast-paced environment

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record

• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening

• Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred


Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Work Location:

• On the Road (various areas of Northwestern KY and Southern IN)

Job Type:

Full-time

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift • 8-hour shift

• Monday to Friday

• Occasional Saturdays

• Overnight hotel stays
