Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Make-On-Demand (MOD) team at Amazon. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions that power MOD manufacturing cells globally.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative distributed software solutions. You will analyze and optimize applications and services, write clean, maintainable code, and conduct peer code reviews.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional software development experience, including experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#. A strong background in software architecture, design, and delivery is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with full-stack development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement software engineering best practices. Travel to MOD cells for software deployment, testing, and support may be required (approximately ~5%).
