Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Operations Manager to join our team at HR Value Partners. This proactive leader will play a key role in the financial operations, financial planning, and financial reporting of our growing private manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; complete internal and external financial audits; manage budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Monitor and manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement business processes and accounting policies to continuously improve the company's financial health; collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. CPA or related qualification is desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, or Controller.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in manufacturing industry accounting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using financial Excel functions); familiarity with MS Business Central is a plus.
  • Leadership skills and experience; ability to manage and develop a team.
