About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Circuit Design Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Ground Missile Defense (GMD) team, you will play a critical role in the development of electrical component design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical circuit designs for complex systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger systems
  • Develop and evaluate electrical component design solutions
  • Work in an Agile environment to meet project deadlines
  • Perform qualification testing, characterization testing, and troubleshooting of completed designs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field and minimum 2 years of related experience, or Master's Degree in a STEM-related field and 2 years of related experience
  • Current US DoD Secret Security clearance is required
  • Ability to support an in-office/closed-area work environment full-time
  • Prior experience with the design, test, and/or integration and deployment of electrical components, electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), or subsystems
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with DOORS and/or CAMEO
  • Experience in system engineering knowledge areas, including technical planning, requirements derivation, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, cost and risk analysis, interface definition, system design, system integration, verification and validation, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical power distribution and design systems
  • Able to interpret and develop electrical schematics
