Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Integration and Test Technician to join our team at BlueHalo. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision on hardware integration and testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the testing of Grade 1 hardware for space applications within the SpaceTech organization
  • Perform detailed design validation of space electronic systems
  • Conduct electronic module and systems testing/validation in accordance with hardware unique procedures
  • Perform integration and testing of space electronic systems and subsystems
  • Prepare and execute procedures, reports, or data acquisition as assigned
  • Perform moderate physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, bending, and continuous standing
  • Assist engineers and other technicians
Requirements
  • Familiarity with processes and methods used in the setup, checkout, and testing of electronics systems
  • 8 years minimum experience
  • Knowledge of computers and office productivity software
  • Effective technical communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work in a team environment both within the organization and with the customer
  • Experience with the generation and execution of step-by-step process logging as directed by a work traveler
  • Ability to understand and adhere to in-process ESD mitigation techniques
  • Ability to read and understand both basic assembly instructional documentation as well as Engineering drawings depicting final configurations through the use of annotations and drawing notes
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
  • Familiarity with processes and methods used in the setup, checkout, and testing of electronics systems
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional/secure office and laboratory environment. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and other equipment as needed.
