Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transportation Specialist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from various locations, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.

Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments, treatment centers, and other destinations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, addressing their physical and emotional needs during transportation.
  • Ensure all patients are properly secured and wearing seatbelts at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless transportation services.
  • Collaborate with the transportation team to optimize routes, schedules, and vehicle utilization.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care and transportation.
Requirements
  • Current Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a healthcare or transportation setting.
  • CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of the City and surrounding areas.
