Job Title: RCDD Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled RCDD Hardware Engineer to join our team at Global World Technology, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in researching, designing, developing, and testing hardware solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware, including computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.
  • Design new products and modify existing products to meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop technical specifications for production and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Analyze hardware configurations and processing solutions to optimize performance.
  • Test hardware to ensure it meets performance specifications.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior hardware engineers and may assume supervisory responsibilities.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to understand and meet their needs effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and industry standards.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance: Required.
  • RCDD Certification: Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in hardware engineering with at least 8 years of experience in developing layout and design for technology systems, including voice, data, and structured cabling.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of BICSI standards, NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, and other applicable codes related to IT, low voltage, and telecommunications systems.
  • Skills: Proven ability in RCDD cost estimation and structured cabling systems from both installation and design perspectives.

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed
