About the Role

Brytesight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AV systems for various markets and industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive AV system designs, including projection and display, sound and speech reinforcement, audio and video conferencing, analog and digital signal processing, analog and digital signal distribution and routing, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, general contractors, and technology installation vendors to ensure that AV systems meet performance, cost, schedule, and warranty requirements.
  • Manage the strategy, design, budgets, coordination, procurement, and implementation oversight of AV systems.
  • Drive technology portions of projects through managing, coordinating, and delivering designs, budgets, and schedule documentation for successful project completion.
  • Serve as a client advocate for technology aspects of projects, driving and coordinating with client stakeholders and project team partners.
  • Lead the design of complex projects and oversee systems commissioning, training, hand-off, and owner acceptance for exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Develop and expand client relationships and project team partnerships.
  • Remain a leader in the industry by understanding new and emerging technologies, including structured cabling, audio visual, and security system industry.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of AV systems design and implementation.
  • Intimate knowledge of audiovisual architectural requirements.
  • General knowledge of IT services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure, and system architecture.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office / Google Software and industry-specific software systems, including CAD/REVIT, Bluebeam, MS Project, PlanGrid, etc.
  • Construction administration experience, including OAC meetings, site visits, and field observation reporting.
