Responsibilities
Accountable for fulfilling customer expectations while conducting thorough inspections.
Key Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of life safety product lines as well as comparable products from other manufacturers.
- Adhere to and maintain a structured inspection timetable.
- Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation using a laptop computer.
- Execute minor repairs and programming modifications under direct authorized supervision.
- Complete assigned inspections punctually.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
Required
- RME-I License
- 2-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems.
- Familiarity with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam systems, fire pumps, and pre-action systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer needs.
- Proficient with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
- Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Exhibits a high level of customer service.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and consistently follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, positive demeanor, and quick learning ability.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
- Capable of obtaining and retaining any licenses required by National, State, and Local regulations.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
