Job Overview

The Sales Coordinator I plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations related to the sale of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the main liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, including the Sales Force Team, Demo, Loaner, RPO, and Sales Representatives.
  • Organizes equipment for Demonstrations, Loaners, RPO, and Sales transactions.
  • Manages Certificate of Insurance (COTI) documentation and assists sales representatives with related paperwork.
  • Ensures timely reconciliation of bi-monthly inventory.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of inventory deliveries and pickups.
  • Oversees and directs the product health loaner process.
  • Maintains optimal stocking levels of Work Tools.
  • Initiates credit release requests as necessary.
  • Prepares call-off documents for internally transported equipment.
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and complies with all company policies and standards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with the construction equipment sales sector.
  • Understanding of basic business accounting principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications and related software.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint; advanced proficiency in MS Word.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.
  • Capacity to interact courteously and maintain professionalism.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending written information.
  • Adept at listening and understanding spoken information.
Education and Experience:
  • Preferred: Less than one year of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
Supervisory Role:
  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel of up to 5% may be required.
Physical Demands:
  • This role involves prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional movement within the office to access equipment and files.
  • Regular communication with others is essential, requiring accurate information exchange.
  • May occasionally handle materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina for constant movement.

Work Environment:
