Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide quality care to patients in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions, maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and provide emotional support, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as necessary, ensuring patients receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and social events, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Implement behavior management strategies and provide emotional support, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Lift and transfer individuals using proper techniques and equipment when necessary, maintaining patient safety and dignity.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or those requiring hospice care, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, including teaching hospitals, nursing homes, operating rooms, and urgent care, adapting to changing situations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
- Assist individuals with long-term care needs and developmental disabilities, providing personalized support and care.
- Document medical information accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings, including urgent care, long-term care, and memory care.
- Proficient in medical documentation and record-keeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and precautions, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
