CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant OR DSP Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality care to patients.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of our clients.
\*Duties\*
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as necessary
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and social events
- Implement behavior management strategies and provide emotional support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Lift and transfer individuals using proper techniques and equipment when necessary
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or those requiring hospice care
- Provide direct patient care in various settings such as a teaching hospital, nursing home, operating room (OR), and urgent care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist individuals with long-term care needs and developmental disabilities
- Document medical information accurately and efficiently
- Support patients in memory care units and those requiring infectious disease care
\*Skills\*
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings including urgent care, long-term care, and memory care
- Proficient in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and precautions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
