Job Summary:

The Field Technician will be responsible for supporting a region of clubs with day-to-day repair and maintenance issues. This role will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment to ensure it is working properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair fitness equipment to ensure it is working properly.
  • Ensure knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials used for repair of in-club machines.
  • Service channel (work order platform) management.
  • Work closely with the Field Supervisor to ensure efficient completion and tracking of all tasks.
  • Respond to all service requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all storage areas and ensure accurate inventory is kept.
  • Log and update equipment repair records.
  • Partner with club managers to provide preventative care for fitness equipment in their clubs.

Requirements:

  • Able to handle/move equipment and inventory in excess of 100 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable using tools, climbing ladders, etc.
  • Familiarity and ability to work on all types of fitness equipment.
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
