About the Role

AEG Worldwide Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our events and venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute marketing plans to promote AEG Presents shows, tours, and festivals. This includes building and maintaining ad plans, coordinating media buying, and creating Google campaigns.
  • Public Relations: Create, preview, and review press releases as needed. Coordinate the distribution of press requests with publicists and serve as a public relations liaison.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media accounts, research new promotional activities, and design posting schedules to correspond with event-related deadlines.
  • Budgeting and Accounting: Monitor budget and accounting for marketing efforts and provide reports to management on potential overages.
  • Community Engagement: Develop special initiatives to involve the community in events and maintain good working relationships with partners, co-promoters, and media.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • Experience: 2-4 years of related work experience, with experience calendaring events
  • Skills: Knowledgeable and skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Photoshop), basic accounting knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong PR skills, social media savvy, and organization skills
