We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Nurse to join our team at Wilson Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
- Collaborate with radiation therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Current/Active North Carolina RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy or oncology nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of radiation therapy principles and practices
