About the Job:

This role plays a crucial part in supporting our dermatologists during patient visits. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a medical office, preferably with a similar capacity. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Accompanying the dermatologist during patient visits and promoting a welcoming environment
  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Preparing patients for procedures and providing post-operative care
  • Drawing blood, suturing, and other medical tasks
  • Maintaining exam rooms and equipment
  • Collaborating with the dermatologist to perform various procedures, including surgical photographs, biopsies, and excisions

Requirements:

  • Post-high school education in a medical support field, such as Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities
