Job Overview

Position Title: Production Operations Coordinator

Location: Waxahachie, Texas

General Overview:

The Production Operations Coordinator will oversee the processing of work orders, evaluate departmental reports, manage scrap inventory, and conduct monthly log and billet inventory assessments. This role encompasses all essential functions related to production coordination and various administrative tasks.

Work Schedule: As determined by the supervisor

Compensation:

Dependent on Experience (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain customer accounts by accurately recording account details.
  • Engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, walking, and lifting for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Address product or service issues by clarifying customer complaints, identifying root causes, and ensuring follow-up for resolution.
  • Compile product or service reports through the collection and analysis of customer data.
  • Handle a significant volume of incoming calls efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Execute general office tasks and manufacturing responsibilities as required.
  • Complete individual assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or general office roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Experience in customer service or office environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and effective time management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Skills in accounting, organization, and computer usage.
  • Competence in documentation, listening, multitasking, and patience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented with flexibility and willingness to work overtime.
