Job Title: Early Career Water Resources Engineer

RTI International's Center for Water Resources (CWR) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Early Career Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of water resources modeling projects, working closely with our team of experts in hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality models to support water resources management decisions.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to inform model development and calibration.
  • Collaborate with project managers, hydrologists, engineers, scientists, and IT developers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Strong background in hydrologic modeling, hydraulic modeling, and water quality modeling.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or C#.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and geospatial analysis tools.
