As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in our team, providing direct patient care and consulting with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
  • Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
  • Perform duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and holds a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
  • Certifications: Holds the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room, PALS is required.
  • Other: Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, as well as kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally.
  • Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
  • Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
