Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students with speech and language disorders to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication difficulties and promote academic success.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions that support students' academic success.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document students' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Therapy Services: Provide therapy services to students in individual or group settings to address their communication needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Indiana or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
