Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Job Opening

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Howard University Hospital. About the Position:

  • Use ultrasound equipment to direct high-frequency sound waves to a prescribed area of the patient's body and capture quality images
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards and regulations

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree (AA) in Radiology or equivalent from a two-year college or hospital-based program
  • Two years' experience in Ultrasound desired, with ARDMS and BLS certification required
  • Certification in General, Vascular, and OBGYN desired
