Our firm, with a strong presence across multiple states, has been delivering exceptional legal services for decades. Role Overview:
The selected associate will engage in a diverse range of casualty litigation, encompassing wrongful death claims, product liability, premises liability, and other complex cases involving significant personal injuries or property damage. Responsibilities will include managing daily case activities, conducting client consultations, overseeing investigations, and participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Depending on the case's complexity, the associate may independently manage cases or collaborate closely with a senior partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of casualty cases under partner guidance
- Conduct client meetings and investigative reporting
- Engage in discovery and motion practice
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Independently oversee cases or work in conjunction with a partner
Qualifications:
A valid Texas BAR license is mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation as a licensed attorney.
Essential Skills:
- Solid understanding of state and federal civil procedures
- Outstanding advocacy and writing capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with deposition and motion practices
- Proficiency in client and insurance carrier reporting
- Billing experience
Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $107,000 to $150,000, contingent on experience, along with quarterly bonuses, a 401(k) plan with profit sharing, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, and a flexible work environment.
