We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nutrition Support Registered Dietitian to lead our Clinical Nutrition Services team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient food and nutrition services, ensuring the highest level of care and quality for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nutrition Committee to develop and implement nutrition support policies and protocols.
- Work closely with the Pharmacy department to review and revise enteral and parenteral nutrition order sets.
- Provide expert consultation to staff Registered Dietitians on enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
- Monitor and oversee the nutrition care of patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Develop and maintain statistics for patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Participate in nutrition support research activities and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver education materials and training programs for staff on nutrition support.
- Assist with the evaluation of enteral formulary and make recommendations for change.
- Perform nutrition assessments for patients at all age levels.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- 5 years' experience in parenteral nutrition management.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Current NH Dietitian license required.
- Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certified Nutrition Support Clinician credential required within 1 year and maintained.
