Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch respiratory care services to patients with diverse needs and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care services under the guidance of a physician, ensuring that patients receive personalized attention and support.
- Operate and manage various types of respiratory equipment, including Drager Ventilators, Transport Vent Zoll, Bipap V60, and High Flow oxygen Vapotherm, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform arterial blood gas analyses using ABG Gem, allowing for informed decision-making and effective patient care.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Document patient care services and interventions in EMR (Meditech), maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications:
- Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), demonstrating expertise and competence in respiratory care.
- Hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS from the American Heart Association, highlighting your commitment to patient safety and well-being.
- Prior experience with ventilator management and other respiratory care procedures, showcasing your ability to adapt to new situations and challenges.
