We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at LSG Sky Chefs. As a key member of our catering operations team, you will be responsible for all aspects of catering, including loading equipment onto the truck, driving to the A/C, loading galleys according to customer guidelines, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated areas.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environments.
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for the entire work shift.
  • Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes.
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year FBI criminal background check to obtain an airport SIDA/AOA badge.
  • Must follow all Ramp, and AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations.
  • Must be able to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 40lbs.
  • Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Must successfully complete an on-the-job driver training program.
  • Must possess interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Must be able to apply safety standards.
  • Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment.
  • Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays, which is subject to change due to shift bidding.
