We are in search of a Proficient Network Architect to enhance our team.
As a Senior Network Architect, you will deliver expert technical advice to design, engineer, and architect enterprise-level solutions. Your contributions will be vital in grasping the strategic vision of various programs, formulating effective solutions, and consistently providing exceptional customer service. In addition to your primary responsibilities in architecture and engineering, you will also assume Product Owner duties for an evolving Data Analytics initiative. Be ready to engage with current solution implementations, evaluate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and custom system integrations for compliance and operational integrity, with a strong focus on security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing enterprise-class systems across diverse environments
- Identifying and showcasing current and emerging technology trends
- Facilitating design workshops with multiple stakeholders
- Formulating strategic plans for architecture, engineering, and integration
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining service catalogs and procedures
- Assisting in the development and presentation of proposals
- Engaging in SAFe PI Planning as Product Owner for Data Analytics
- Offering visionary guidance for the growth of Data Analytics
- Installing new software releases, system upgrades, and troubleshooting network issues
- Collaborating with various IT professionals to analyze requirements and resolve anomalies
- 10-15 years of experience in architecture and network engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in systems administration and automation
- Technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture, SOA, and IT Service Delivery
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification(s)
- Experience in conducting assessments, reviewing technical documentation, and developing customized solutions
- Familiarity with Data Analytics methodologies and technologies
- Experience with security findings identified by tools such as Tenable, Burp, AppScan
- Extensive experience in agile environments
- Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
- Experience leading multiple teams and resources
- In-depth knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools
- Experience in deploying technical solutions across the enterprise
- Active DOD Secret clearance and ability to obtain agency suitability clearance
- Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods
- Must be able to move between work locations
- Must be able to operate IT equipment and communicate effectively with others
- This position may require support outside of regular hours and on-call rotation
