Consumer Lending Operations Administrative Associate I

Position Overview:
Reporting To: Supervisor of Consumer Lending Administration
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Main Responsibilities: Provide teller services and administrative assistance across all functions of the Consumer Lending department, which encompasses consumer loan origination, servicing, and collections.
Key Duties:
1. Execute teller-related tasks, including processing checks and transfers.
2. Conduct balancing activities for designated general ledger accounts.
3. Handle teller transactions, implement demographic updates, and perform other maintenance tasks within lending, collections, and servicing software.
4. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and update member account details.
5. Ensure timely and precise data entry and document preparation for Consumer Lending departments, including payment requests for vendors.
6. Maintain credit union records pertinent to board reports and negotiable items.
7. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Preferred six months of general office experience with some familiarity in lending or loan servicing. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in the MS Office suite is required.
Tenure: Advancement to Consumer Lending Administration Specialist II or III, Category 15 or 14, is contingent upon meeting acceptable performance standards as determined by management. Relevant work experience and/or completion of accelerated training may substitute for tenure.
Compensation:
Salary Range:
- Consumer Lending Operations Administrative Associate I (Category 16): $36,582 - $51,947 annually
- Consumer Lending Operations Administrative Associate II (Category 15): $38,412 - $55,312 annually
- Consumer Lending Operations Administrative Associate III (Category 14): $41,484 - $60,567 annually
The starting salary will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage regulations, falling within the specified range.
In line with our Salary Administration policy, new hire salaries typically range from the minimum to midpoint of the listed scale.
