Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Hanover, PA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Days (80 hours/week)

Position Overview:

Marie Lawrence Associates is in search of a skilled and empathetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional care to our patients. The PTA will operate under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on enhancing patient mobility, alleviating discomfort, and aiding in the restoration of physical capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing treatment strategies established by the Physical Therapist tailored to the unique requirements of each patient.
  • Facilitate therapeutic exercises, functional training, and additional interventions as directed.
  • Track patient advancements and communicate any modifications to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Instruct patients and their families on exercises and activities that promote recovery and overall wellness.
  • Ensure precise documentation of patient care and progress in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Maintain a hygienic, secure, and well-organized treatment space.
Qualifications:
  • Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capacity to collaborate effectively within a team, and a dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
