Radiation Therapist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Proton team in Fairfax, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality radiation treatments to patients using linear accelerators and patient simulation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and healthcare team members.
• Perform daily quality assurance on equipment to ensure accurate output.
• Participate in in-vivo dosimetry measurements and special dosimetry.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or Certification.
• 2 years of experience as a Staff Therapist in a Radiation Therapy department.
• American Registered Radiologic Technologist required upon start.
• Basic Life Support from AHA required upon start.
• VA License highly preferred.
