Role Summary

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is crucial in advancing our commitment to excellence in client management and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently overseeing a substantial portfolio of insurance business, ensuring all necessary tasks are executed accurately and punctually.
  • Enhancing client loyalty by fostering positive relationships and delivering high levels of advocacy, exceptional service, and professional communication.
  • Managing renewals, service inquiries, claims, billing, and new policy implementations.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market appetites, underwriting standards, submission processes, and procedures.
  • Reviewing all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for precision.
  • Coordinating expiration lists with the department manager to gather renewal business information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Commercial Account Management is required.
  • Property & Casualty License is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are required.
  • Strong administrative and computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software is preferred.
  • Able to work autonomously while enjoying a high level of interaction with team members.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving capabilities with minimal assistance.
  • Capacity to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to uphold a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
